ABOUT ME

Aaron Fettgather is an education and business specialist who partners with organizations to grow their social impact initiatives, and grow related portfolios.  After spending nearly a decade working on education, corporate philanthropy, and business development projects, Aaron is able to help nonprofits and corporations with a social impact vision that is strategic, pragmatic, and market driven. 

Aaron has successfully managed a wide range social impact programs including those in the K-12, higher education, community development, and social cohesion spheres. He has also realized significant programmatic cost-savings (over 40%), while increasing impact. 

Aaron holds a BA in Political Science from American University, and an MA in Government from Johns Hopkins.  His thesis examines 21st century skills in education, with chapters on international benchmarking and the Programme for International Student Assessment, Common Core State Standards, and financial literacy education.  He is also pursuing an MBA from JHU, focusing on the intersection between business and community.
